How To Choose A Home

Here are a few tips to finding your dream home:

  • Define your neighborhood/location area
  • Consider what type of home you want to buy
  • Determine what age and condition you want to buy
  • Always consider resale potential
  • Figure out before looking how much you can afford
  • Ask your real estate agent for a list of lenders
  • Use a pros and cons list when looking at homes
  • Act promptly when you find YOUR home

The buying process would start with our meeting. Next you'll want to speak with a reputable lender in order to get your budget in place and know the amount you'll be able to afford if you're financing. Then you can begin the fun part of actually going out to check out homes. When you find a home you're happy with you'll want to have me submit an offer on it. Once the offer is accepted then the option period begins. During the option period the home inspection, termite inspection and any other inspections you might want are completed. Immediately after the contract is agreed too and signed by all parties the lender will need a copy. This will start the process of you obtaining your new home! Once the home is closed and funded it's yours and you'll be able to move in and begin enjoying it. Don't forget to keep in touch with the professionals who helped you throughout the process. Congrats on your new home!
